An exhibition of prints from Lococo Fine Art Publisher will be on display June 22 through August 5 at William Campbell Contemporary Art. An opening reception will take place Thursday, June 22, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. The show will include several dozen pieces from such noted artists as Alex Katz, Donald Sultan, Ross Bleckner, Donald Baechler, and Crash.
Featured in the gallery collection are two new large-scale silkscreens by Katz.Departure depicts an austere female figure from behind as she retreats into the picture plane, while 10:30 A.M. presents an array of luminous, organic flora that
expand across the surface. The show also includes a new suite of Sultan’s signature high-contrast, graphic floral forms titled Lantern Flowers, Feb. 10, 2017
, in addition to the new, abstract Dome
suite by Bleckner in red, blue, and grey variations. Prints from Baechler’s recent suite of color-blocked roses on patterned fields also appear, along with graffiti-inspired works by Crash. Images of the prints are available for preview at www.lococofineart.com
